Rogoznica

Rogoznica and the Frapa Marina, 43° 31' North and 15° 58' East, its a beautiful resort discovered in the early 16th Century. Rogoznica is located less than 5 Miles southeast of Primošten. It is centrally located with many facilities and has good access to nearby Split and Sibenik.

Luka Rogoznica is a large Horse-shoe shaped bay. The West side of the Bay called Kopaca is the modern Marina Frapa, a Full Service Marina, considered the most beautiful croatian Marina. Whilst Rogoznica Village, a former island is a 20 minute walk from the Marina on the opposite side of the Bay.

Rogoznica offers a bit of something for everyone. There are peaceful paths leading through the pine tree wood, isolated bays and beaches, beautiful Anchorages and Great Sailing. In the Mornings, there is a colourful animated market and a multitude of people amongst the bar and restaurant terraces in the early evenings.

Nearby there is a salt lake called "The Eye of the Dragon". It is thought by scientists to be a remarkable phenomenon of nature for its origin and the flora and fauna it contains. Local people of Rogoznica love to talk about the legend over a few beers.
