New Caledonia is an exotic French overseas territory. The Islands lie in the southwest Pacific Ocean on the Tropic of Capricorn. The Melanesian Islands comprise of the Loyalty Islands, with the Capital of New Caledonia at Nouméa on the Island of Grand Terre.
