Twenty eight degrees North of the Equator and 15 degrees West, lying approx. 200 miles West of North Africa is the Principal Island of the Canaries, Gran Canaria. There is great night life and every conceivable water sports facility from Diving, Surfing, Wind-surfing, Kite Surfing, Big Game Fishing or just plain Sailing is available from around the Island.

The Island has an average mean temperature of 24º, which is very appealing for small families and North Europeans. There are also numerous outdoor activities such as Golf, Trekking, Rock-climbing and Cycling.
