Sotogrande, Cadiz

Sotogrande is an Exclusive residential Development. Which includes a World Class Yachting Marina and home to the Famous Valderrama Golf Club which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup and the World Golf Championships in November 2000 and Volvo Masters in 2002.

This luxury resort estate on the Mediterranean coast, which lies a long par 5 from Gibraltar and an hour and a half west from Malaga, is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax. The estate is equipped with beach restaurants, port Cafes and comfortable accommodation with absolute privacy.

The estate is under a 24-hour security service. You can stay at luxury hotels, villas in their own grounds with their private swimming pools, to country and beach apartments with communal pools. From some of the beach apartments, there are breathtaking views of the Straits of Gibraltar, particularly beautiful at sunset.

Sotogrande is roughly 5,000 acres in size and has three golf courses, Sotogrande, Valderrama and La Cañada. There are facilities for horse riding, polo, tennis, fronton, paddle tennis sailing and regattas. The Marina is the first leading leisure harbour on entering the Mediterranean.

Sotogrande is one of the top venues in the world for polo and the only place in Europe where the sport is played throughout the year. Throughout the summer, months there are tournaments, mostly at weekends.

Within Sotogrande, lies the protected Guadiaro estuary, a geographical area of 27 hectare of marshland on the west bank at the mouth of the River Guadiaro. It is of special interest to bird watchers but anybody can enjoy a stroll along the wooden walkways.

We have a small fleet of Yachts to Charter, Sail from 34-41ft. The Yachts Licensed and available for sailing to North Africa, Ceuta, Smir or alternatively, Gibraltar, Cadiz or Seville. Or just kick back, relax, hang out and cruise the Costa del Sol.
